Porthcothan Bay is set on Cornwall's north coast & benefits from stunning scenery and a beautiful sandy beach with blue seas popular with surfers and bathers alike. Within the immediate area there are a variety of activities on offer including water sports; surfing, sailing, coastal walks. Seagulls has a modern fully fitted kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher & washer/dryer. There is a lounge & also a sun room which has a double sofabed if required. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed & bedroom 2 has two single beds. There is plenty of outdoor space with several patios, lawns & the top field accessed by the wooden bridge - ideal for watching the glorious sunsets over the bay. *Seagulls also has the advantage of a half-acre garden which is available for limited camping, please ask. Access is via a coded keysafe. Information regarding directions & access codes will be sent via email prior to the date of arrival. Access is not permitted before 4pm on the date of arrival & guests must leave before 10am on the date of departure. The whole house and gardens are available for guests. Unfortunately due to the location and steep stepped pathway this property is not suitable for guests with mobility problems. We are available 24/7 via phone or email. To the south there are number of bays including Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay. Newquay is 8 miles south and is a popular seaside resort with 7 miles of sandy beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. Newquay Airport only 6 miles from Porthcothan offers regular flights to London Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester, other domestic and European Cities. Three miles to the north lies St Merryn village with a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Two miles further to the north is the famous port and harbour of Padstow. Private transport is probably preferable but Porthcothan is on a regular Bus route to Newquay, Padstow and beyond. Parking for two vehicles is available on the Private Road just outside the Property.
